Game Update: PreacherDudeRox now Project Leader

Posted by Saberman on 2012-03-02 11:36:00 EST

Congratulations to my great friend David Gonzalez better known as PreacherDudeRox. He has been promoted to my former position of Legacy leader. He and I continue to talk and I have set him up perfectly for the position.

This is a permanent promotion. I've retired as main leader. For now I will continue to be the Vice Leader, musician, and plot/content writer and director.

PDR will now be in charge of everything Legacy related. I'm still on my hiatus until summer. I have just come back to make this change.

Game Update: How Things Are Looking

Posted by Saberman on 2011-11-27 09:58:06 EST
Well, as you can see by the arrival of my friend and new Legacy programmer LacisAdotu, we're finally back on track after yet another stall due to a programmer leaving. I have high faith that Legacy's code is in the right hands, as he and I are close in real life.Anyways, on to the update. I changed my mind a bit about some things. As some of you remember, a while ago I said that I was leaving in December; not anymore, or at least not exactly.I'm not leaving in December anymore; I'm leaving when we get the upcoming release demo out. Also, it's not forever; I do want to come back and finish the game eventually. When, I don't know, but I will. I feel it's absolutely necessary for me to take a break. I need to focus on my real life. There are issues to take care of and things to work on.My only question is, is my team going to wait for me? None of us likely know the answer to that question, it's too far away. To keep the game alive while I'm gone, I have some things planned so don't worry about that. Now to what everyone's interested in: the release. We're also taking the time to extend this long demo to span the first three chapters of the game. Yes, it's long and may/will reveal a lot, but it's the only release before the full game. Reason is because of the whole me leaving thing. This is similar to what Chrono X is doing, as I believe from talking to MaxRock that their next one will be their last until the full release.

Site Update: New Logo

Posted by Saberman on 2011-10-24 22:03:49 EDT

To reflect the name change, TREZ's very own mega rock.exe, the creator of Legacy's past logos as well as the highly successful Chrono X's, has designed a new logo in collaboration with me for the game. Some of the designs can give you a hint on what's involved in the game.

Here it is:

A slightly hue-modified version of it will also become the Home Page's header.

Thanks again, MRE!
